July 28, 2021

The bad electrical storm that came through last evening has hit us hard again at the church.  So far Dennis has found that the two DVRs that we use for security are both out.  One of the monitors is out along with the door locks not working.  The internet is down so we can't livestream.  On top of this, my voice has not been good for the past couple days.  After talking with the deacons we have decided to cancel this evenings service while still sorting all the problems out.

**Be in prayer for our service this coming Sunday.  Our Sunday services remain the same with Sunday School beginning at 10:30 am and will be "Audio Only" on the livestream.  Nick Dyson will be teaching the lesson for us this week.  Preaching will be both "Audio and Video" on the livestream as we have been doing.

**We have posted the lastest newsletter from the  Lou and Vernice McKinney on the "Missionary Newsletters" page.

**We will continue to do the "Parking Lot" services for those who are still uncomfortable about coming back inside for services right now.  Services will also be "Livestreamed" as they have been for those who are not able to be here and need to watch from home.
For our services we have updated our mask / temperature policies.

We will no longer be checking temperatures of those coming into the service, but we do ask that if you are sick or have a fever to stay home until you feel better.

We have removed the tape marking off pews for "social distancing".

We are not requiring masks, but anyone who would still rather wear one through the service is just fine.  Anyone who wants to wear one in and then take it off for the service is fine.  Some have chosen not to wear one since they have been vaccinated, which is also fine.  We leave that up to the individual or family.

We do ask that everyone remain vigilant since the covid is still active in our area.

Thank you to everyone who has worked with us in patience throughout this past year and as we moved forward.

Please continue to check out the website and look for information, music, messages and thoughts.  Look for the messages current and past under the "Sermons" tab along with some from Adam and other young men and some from my dad.

Also, you will find a lot of music under the "Music" tab from the congregation, special singing from the church and some that have been recorded just to put on the website.  I appreciate all the music that has been sent to us and will add more as it comes in.

I will try to add other things along the way under the "Blog" section and try to keep the "Prayer Requests" updated every day or two so keep checking back for updates.  If you know of any special prayer requests we need to add please let me know and I'll get it on the list.

I stress again, if you know of a need or have a need, please let me or one of our deacons know and we'll do all that we can to help out during this time.   If you need me anytime, I'm always available.

I've said it before and I say it again---be patient; be persistent; and be prayerful.
