JULY 9, 2020

Much has happened again this week involving our church family.  Pray for Brenda, Jane and their families as they deal with the passing away of their brother Johnny Lowman.  He has been on our prayer list for weeks as he has fought the Covid virus.  He passed away on Wednesday afternoon.  Also, pray for Aileen and the family for these difficult days.

Holly had a treatment on Wednesday and was scheduled for one on Friday, but her blood count was too low so they cancelled the one on Friday.  She will have them again next week.  Randy's dad, Larry, will start his treatments Monday. Jan goes back for her recheck today.  Beverly sees the doctor about her knee today.  Guy will see his heart doctor on July 15th and then will start his IV chemotherapy on July 20th.  Jim Brittain will start his injections for his back next week and Joyce will get the stitches out of her finger next week.

We still have those who may be traveling on vacation or will be in the coming weeks so keep all of our church family in your prayers.  Please be praying for our service this coming Sunday morning, asking the Lord to meet the needs of our hearts.  Also, we will be back to having our service this coming Wednesday night as a "Parking Lot" service at 7 pm.

**We are also planning to go back to an "Inside" service on Sunday morning, July 26th.  We will go back to a similar entrance as we did last time.  We will continue to do the "Parking Lot" service for those who don't feel comfortable coming inside yet and we will continue the Live Stream service also.  I will be posting more information in the days to come, so keep checking back.

Please continue to check out the website and look for information, music, messages and thoughts.  Look for the messages current and past under the "Sermons" tab along with some from Adam and other young men and some from my dad.

Also, you will find a lot of music under the "Music" tab from the congregation, special singing from the church and some that have been recorded just to put on the website.  I appreciate all the music that has been sent to us and will add more as it comes in.

Included also you will find the Adult Sunday School lessons taught by some of the young men in the church under the "Sunday School Lesson" tab so look for that and listen to it this Sunday morning as part of your "at home" worship.  The Adult lesson for this morning, July 5th, will be taught by Brandon and Angel will be doing the children's lesson for us this week.

I try to add other things along the way under "Sermon Thoughts" or under the "Blog" section and try to keep the "Prayer Requests" updated every day or two so keep checking back for updates.  If you know of any special prayer requests we need to add please let me know and I'll get it on the list.

I stress again, if you know of a need or have a need, please let me or one of our deacons know and we'll do all that we can to help out during this time.   If you need me anytime, I'm always available.

I've said it before and I say it again---be patient; be persistent; and be prayerful.
